Q: Where can I see a Vita-Mix demonstration?
A: Since you are already at www.vitamix.com you can view a demonstration online! Go to our video library and find out now how easy and enjoyable it is to use the Vita-Mix 5000. In addition, the Vita-Mix 5000 is demonstrated at 400+ home shows and county fairs each year in the United States and Canada. To check when we will be at a show or fair in your area, go to Shows & Fairs on this web site.

Q: Where can the Vita-Mix Super 5000 and Vita-Mix 5000 be purchased?
A: Vita-Mix machines can be purchased direct from Vita-Mix Corporation by Phone, Fax , Mail, Internet, and, also at shows and fairs throughout the United States and Canada.

Q: What is a reconditioned Vita-Mix machine?
A: Reconditioned machines may have been used for live demonstrations or in a photo shoot. They may also be machines that have been returned within the 30-day trial period. In any case, a Reconditioned Vita-Mix machine has seen very limited use. Upon return to the factory, the motor base of each machine is cleaned, inspected and repackaged with a brand new container plus a bonus kit that includes Recipes for Better Living Cookbook, Getting Started Cookbook, Tamper, and Instructional Video. Reconditioned Vita-Mix Super 5000 machines also include an additional dry blade container and Whole Grains Cookbook. In addition, each reconditioned Vita-Mix carries the same 7-Year Performance Warranty and a 30-Day Trial Period Refund Guarantee offered with a brand new machine. (Please Note: Reconditioned units are in limited quantities.)

Q: What is the expected delivery time?
A: Orders are processed the next business day. Vita-Mix products are built-to-order and all orders are sent by ground shipping, unless the customer requests other shipping arrangements. So, please allow 10-14 days for production and shipping for standard product orders.

Q: How are Vita-Mix machines shipped? What is the charge?
A: We use various shippers: UPS, FedEx, FedEx Home Delivery, and US Post Office. Ground shipping and handling is $25US/$35CN for each unit ordered. Express overnight delivery is $45 Continental US. Alaska & Hawaii is $55. Express delivery is not available in Canada.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: Vita-Mix offers a 30-Day Trial Period Refund Guarantee. All refunds will be made in the same manner in which purchased. A restocking fee will apply after the 30-day trial period.

Q: What is the cost of return shipping if I do choose to return my machine within the 30-Day Trial?
A: Vita-Mix recommends UPS ground, insured shipping. Be sure to insure your package for the price of the product.

Q: How do I return the Vita-Mix product?
A: Contact Customer Service at 1-800-848-2649 or send an e-mail to service@vitamix.com to receive a Return Authorization Number.

Q: Do you accept trade-ins?
A: Yes, Vita-Mix offers a $75US/$100CN credit towards the purchase of a Vita-Mix 5000 or Vita-Mix Super 5000, new or reconditioned. Vita-Mix accepts trade-ins on Models 3600, 4000, and 2200. See our "Specials" page for more trade-in information.
