VITA-MIX® BRINGS REPRESENTATIVES FROM 55 COUNTRIES TO CLEVELAND

Cleveland, Ohio - May 19, 2004 Cleveland - The Vita-Mix Corporation will be hosting an Global Dinner Reception at Key Towers on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at 7:00 PM as part of "Cracking the Code to Success" event in Cleveland. This event is bringing visitors from all over the world to Cleveland to learn how to increase their sales success of Vita-Mix products and trade relations. In attendance will be international distributors from over 55 countries around the world, national representatives, and drink mix manufacturers.

The Singing Angels will perform their recently recorded rendition of international songs for Cleveland's international guests.

City Councilman, Joseph Cimperman, will provide a special welcome for the evening.

John Barnard, President of Vita-Mix will welcome the international distributors and U.S. representatives to Cleveland. Barnard will talk about the importance of Vita-Mix's world headquarters being located in Cleveland and employing individuals from across America and around the world.

"Detective Deric Langton" of Unbelievable Entertainment will provide comedy & entertainment for the evening. Karaoke and dancing will follow.

Cocktail hour begins at 7:00 PM, dinner will be served at 8:00 PM, entertainment following.
