“Holiday Gift Card Contest”

A. Eligibility.
The contest drawing is open to residents of the United States and Canada 18 years of age or older. Employees of Vita-Mix Corporation and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. The contest is only open to customers who purchase a Vita-Mix 5200, Super Vita-Mix 5200 or a Vita-Mix Deluxe 5200 who purchase one of those Vita-Mix packages after clicking on the Gift Card Contest Banner to make their purchase.

B. How to Enter.
To enter the drawing, you must purchase a Vita-Mix 5200, Super Vita-Mix 5200 or a Vita-Mix Deluxe 5200 at the regular price. Reconditioned machines, machines bought on sale and non 5200 machine purchases are excluded from this offer. You must purchase from an authorized Vita-Mix Affiliate who has posted the promotional gift card contest banner. Only purchases made through the contest banner link qualify. Only purchases received before 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on December 15, 2008, will be entered into the drawing. If an entry is deemed ineligible or incomplete, it will not be entered into the drawing. Vita-Mix is not responsible for ineligible, incomplete or late entries. Vita-Mix is not responsible for computer, telephone, hardware, software or program malfunctions or any other errors, failures or delays.

C. Prizes.
Vita-Mix will obtain Winner’s email addresses to forward to www.giftcard.com where Winners will be contacted by www.giftcard.com to select a $50 Gift Card from a selection of national merchants. Winning the contest is contingent upon the winning entrant fulfilling all of the requirements set forth in these Official Rules of Contest. If the potential winning entrant is disqualified for any reason, or we are unable to contact the winner, Vita-Mix will award the prize to an alternate winner. Winners that are members of the Vita-Village community by December 15, 2008, will receive the bonus prizes announced in the contest.

D. Drawing.
12 winners will be notified the week of December 15, 2008, via telephone. Winners will be notified by Vita-Mix and all winning names will be announced in the Vita-Mix online community, Vita-Village, on January 9, 2009.

E. Miscellaneous.
All federal, state and local laws apply. All applicable federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners who will be required to sign a release in order to collect their prize.
