OnSpeX™ Consumer Product Evaluation, a division of CSA, put the Vitamix^® The Quiet One^®, along with three competitive blenders through a battery of tests to determine which product was the quietest blender on the market today. Independent testing confirms the following:

• The Quiet One consistently outperformed the competition and was the quietest blender on each of the four recipes tested
• The Quiet One operated on average 9.3 decibels (dBA) below the competition and would be perceived as being nearly two times quieter, or half as loud
• On one of the most demanding test recipes, the milkshake, The Quiet One operated at an amazing 18 dBA below its competitor and would be perceived as being nearly four times quieter, or one quarter as loud
• On some recipes, The Quiet One operated at levels as much as 20 dBA below the competition
• To put this in real life perspective, The Quiet One operates at sound levels just slightly above normal conversation, while the competition operates at sound levels equivalent to a running garbage disposal
• The Quiet One produced thick, smooth drinks every time it was tested
