A Premium, Professional-Grade Blender Worthy of Your Kitchen’s Counter Space: The New Vitamix® Professional Series 300 03.09.2012

CLEVELAND — Vita-Mix® Corporation, the leader in professional-grade blender innovation, introduces the Professional Series 300, the next generation of blending that provides the ultimate blending experience. Performing tasks that no other blender can match, the Professional Series 300 easily takes the place of several kitchen appliances. Featuring a new design, quieter blending, full variable speed plus a pulse feature, the Professional Series 300 delivers advanced, high-performance blending in an attractive, timeless design.

The Professional Series 300 features a powerful ≈2 peak motor output horsepower that masters even the toughest of blends. Its full variable speed feature provides ultimate control, allowing the home chef to create at their culinary and creative best. Speed variables go from 0 to high in one easy turn of the dial. Also, a pulse feature allows for drinks to be refreshed and a variety of textures created to exact consistencies.

Powerful and versatile, the Professional Series 300 offers quieter blending, resulting from enhanced airflow management, similar to Vitamix’s commercial blenders, dramatically reducing noise of the blend by half, or 10 decibels. This feature also improves motor cooling for longer, more robust blending of even the toughest ingredients.

The Professional Series 300’s new compact design fits under most kitchen cabinets, giving home chefs more reason to keep the blender proudly displayed and more readily accessible in the well-appointed kitchen. Its contemporary design features crisp edges, flowing lines and subtly crowned surfaces. The generous, redesigned low-profile, 64-ounce, BPA-free container features a patented steel blade and wider base for faster, finer blending and an improved pour spout to provide a quicker, easier pour.

“Vitamix is pleased to introduce this next step in blending technology,” said Anthony Ciepiel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Vita-Mix Corporation. “We strived to deliver a more compact, quieter machine with full variable speed and pulse to allow greater operator control and precision. This machine can take a permanent place on the countertop of any well-appointed kitchen.”

The Professional Series 300 is available in Ruby and Onyx finishes. It has a suggested retail price of $529 and includes an instructional DVD featuring Chef Michael Voltaggio and a hard-bound cookbook with more than 200 recipes. Made in the USA with 70 percent American components, the Professional Series 300 comes with a full 7-year warranty. The Professional Series 300 is sold at specialty and online retailers along with vitamix.com and will be available in May 2012.
