Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) orange juice
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) 100% cranberry juice
  • 1/2 orange, well peeled
  • 1/2 lime, well peeled
  • 3-4 Tablespoons (38-50 g) granulated sugar
  • 1/4-inch x 1/4-inch (.6 cm x .6 cm) piece of fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 1 1/2-2 cups (360-480 ml) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
  2. Select Variable 1.
  3. Blend for 25 to 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.

This recipe has been written for the Vitamix 5200 with Standard 64-ounce container. If you are using a different Vitamix machine or container size, you may need to make adjustments to the Variable Speed, processing time, and/or ingredient quantities.
