Four Fruit Smoothie
Fresh orange, pineapple, banana, and strawberries are blended to perfection for a refreshing, all-natural beverage.
- 1 orange, peeled, halved
- 1 slice pineapple, peeled
- ½ banana, peeled
- 3 strawberries, hulled, quartered
- ½ cup (120 ml) water
- 2 Tablespoons agave nectar
- 1 cup (130 g) ice cubes
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
- Blend for 30 seconds, or until desired consistency is reached.

I see that in this recipe the green top of the strawberry is left on?????.. not sure about that, is it safe to eat the green stem as I have always cut it off ( seems that it was always cut off by my mother )
The green part of the strawberry is safe to eat. You can leave it on when making this smoothie.

What is considered 1inch thick slice pineapple? Does this mean cut horizontally or vertically?
