Rated 5 out of 5 by Jennifer Ellen from Very refreshing! This smoothie is delicious and very refreshing. It's hard to believe that there are two cups of spinach in it because it's just so delicious and juicy. My vitamix did an amazing job of blending everything together. I could not taste the skin on the grapes or the spinach leaves at all. I have had this for 3 mornings in a row now. I love it so much!

This recipe makes 2.75 servings. Can you refrigerate remainder after drinking 1 serving and not loose flavor or nutrients? Or would you make a small size instead? I need to be mindful of the carbohydrates in my diet. Thank you.
Yes you can refrigerate for a day and not lose to much flavor. You could also cut the recipe in half and it should work well.

Can Kale be substituted for spinach in a recipe
Yes kale can be substituted for spinach. It may take a few more seconds to blend fully and will also be a little thicker in texture that with the spinach.
