Lavender Syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 ml) water
  • 1 cup (240 ml) honey
  • ¼ cup (10 g) dried lavender

Directions

  1. Bring the water and honey to a boil in a saucepan. Add the lavender and simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Cool slightly. Transfer the mixture to the Vitamix container and secure lid.
  2. Select Variable 1.
  3. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
  4. Blend for 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached. Strain into a bottle and refrigerate overnight.

Lavender Berry Limeaid

Ingredients

  • 3 fluidounces (90 ml) lavender syrup
  • ⅓ cup (40 g) raspberries
  • ⅓ cup (50 g) blueberries
  • ⅓ cup (45 g) blackberries
  • 3 strawberries, hulled, quartered
  • Juice of three limes
  • 3 fluidounces (90 ml) vodka
  • 1½ fluidounce (45 ml) Grand Marnier
  • 1 cup (130 g) ice cubes
  • soda water
  • mint, for garnish

Directions

  1. Place the vodka, Grand Marnier, lime juice, lavender syrup, berries, and ice into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
  2. Select Variable 1.
  3. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
  4. Blend for 15 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Divide evenly over four glasses, top with soda water and garnish with mint.
