Rated 5 out of 5 by Wandee from Love, love, LOVE my Vitamix! I make pineapple juice and add fresh basil. Just enough to give it a light greenish color, along with the ice. It is so VERY refreshing and delicious! I had it in Thailand at a spa and fell in love with it. Also, watermelon juice with lemon. Just great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Clara from Fresh Pineapple juice is the way to Go! I finally juice the fresh pineapple right, this time; it was delicious, no pulp, very smooth, healthy and refreshing, thanks to the VitaMix blender.

can frozen pineapple chunks be used?
If you are planning to use frozen pineapple in this recipe you will want to let them thaw before use. You will get more of a frozen dessert consistency if using all frozen ingredients rather than fresh pineapple and ice.

I have the 7500 series machine & it's been hard for me to figure out how to adjust many of the ingredients for my machine without over-diluting the recipe. Could you please give me any tips as to how much ingredients to add? Thank you!
In the low profile container you will need to double the recipe exactly. You will need to use 5 cups of fresh pineapple and 2 cups of ice. A great option for the left over juice is to freeze in ice cube trays and use 1 cup of "pineapple ice cubes" and 1 cup regular ice cubes the next time you make it.

i think I saw a demo in store where the pineapple skin was left on is that right or is my memory wrong
We do not recommend using the whole skin of the pineapple, the machine can blend it but it will leave your smoothie with a very bitter flavor.
