Carrot, Orange, and Apple Juice
A colorful and refreshing fruit pick-me-up.
- 120 ml (½ cup) cold water
- 1 Large orange, peeled, halved
- ½ apple, seeded, cored
- 1 carrot, halved
- 130 g (1 cup) ice cubes
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
- Blend for 1 minute or until smooth. Serve immediately.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NicoleT from OK, but needs adjustments I don't understand people highly rating a recipe that they didn't follow as written. This fell pretty flat on flavor to me so I'm giving 3 stars for the original recipe. I made adjustments by subbing coconut water, adding a bit more pineapple and threw in chucks of mango which helped liven it up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dukbutr from Refreshing and fast Even though the tagline on this recipe claims "two citrus fruits," it only uses an orange and half an apple. I don't think either the apple or carrot qualify as "citrus." However, it's still good. I never blend it anywhere near the required time of 1 minute, so I still get a bit of pulp. But with a big, fat straw it all goes down with ease.
