Easy and delicious
I buy the big container of cashews that are unroasted from costco; they are also organic. I also buy almonds. I do 1/2 cup of each and it yields 2 liters of the best nut milk ever. It's cheaper, fresher, and has no preservatives.

Wow, really good
I've tried store bought almond milk, rice milk, etc., and have never really like them. This cashew milk was rich, creamy and much better than any store bought brand that I've tried. I still like actual milk more, but as a milk substitute, this is delcious.

Easy and perfect for soups
I bought a used 3600, because I wanted the same model my parents had when I was much younger. Love the ease of making cashew milk for cream based soups. I can adjust the amount of water depending on the recipe, resulting in heavy cream or milk. I have even frozen and used later. Great for someone who cannot digest milk, but can have tree nuts.

Love it
I have a Vitamix as well. Just used this receipe and it was quick and easy. Dont have to put it through a cheese cloth which is great. Almond milk takes a little more work so I think this will be my quick go to for milk very often. Taste great and I added a pinch of salt a 2 dates.

I added extra stuff
Love my Vitamix!! I think my measurements were the same as the recipe--I didn't measure (as usual). I added a tbsp coconut oil, couple shakes of salt, and vanilla stevia. Now, I just made this so I don't have proof yet, but I'm guessing the coconut oil is going to get pebbly in the fridge and I'll have to blend it every time I use it. However, it really added a nice creaminess and flavor.
