Lemon Lime Basil Slushy

A new twist on traditional lemonade with sweet lime and fresh basil leaves.

  • 360 ml (1½ cup) water, or vegetable stock
  • 4 lemon, peeled
  • 4 limes, peeled
  • 20 g (½ cup) fresh basil leaves
  • 1 kg (8 cups) ice cubes
  • 160 ml (⅔ cup) date syrup, or granulated sugar


  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
  3. Blend for 1 minute, using the tamper to push ingredients towards the blades or until desired consistency is reached.
