Banana Freeze
With just bananas, milk, sweetener and ice, this sweet indulgence is quick, easy and guilt-free. Top with slivered almonds for added texture, or serve with peanut butter pie for an irresistible combination.
Ingredients
- 3 bananas, peeled, halved
- 2 Tablespoons caster sugar
- 240 ml (1 cup) milk
- 390 g (3 cups) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High. Use the tamper to press ingredients into the blades.
- In about 30-60 seconds, the sound of the motor will change and four mounds should form.
- Stop machine. Do not over mix or melting will occur. Serve immediately.
Notes
If mixture has the consistency of a milkshake, firm it up by slowly adding another 240 ml of frozen ice cubes. Process until smooth.

Love this machine
I got my machine about a month ago and I love it.. Best investment I have made in a very long time.. Don't waste your money on a blender or Ninja.. I have tried them all.. This beats them all hands down.. Totally worth the money!!

delicious!
This is my "go to" recipe when I'm craving ice cream. I use raw agave for the sugar and coconut milk. Soooooo good!

Banana Freeze
Made mine with frozen banana coins and 20ml Quark. I added a few blueberries for an added flavour depth, and a teaspoon of golden syrup

Banana Icecream
I converted the recipe some. Froze the bananas, added almond butter for rich taste and creaminess,
a pinch of salt then dates for sweetness and some agave. Oh... heaven, praline/caramel icecream.
