Mint Julep

This classic Southern cocktail is perfect for parties (and horse races)!

Ingredients

  • 1 tasse (240 ml) bourbon
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) cold water
  • ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
  • 20 mint leaves
  • 4 cups (520 g) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Aer™ disc container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select Variable 1, start the machine and increase to its highest speed. Blend for 15 seconds.
  3. Pour into 4 glasses and top with more ice and a garnish of mint sprigs.

Notes

The Aer™ disc container does the muddling for you by effortlessly combining the mint and sugar. This drink is strong; if you prefer a lighter version, use a half cup of water and a half cup of sugar
