Berbere Spice Blend
This spice blend has a kick, and will go great with fish, chicken and beef.
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons (13 g) coriander seeds
- 4 (10 g) red chilies
- 4 allspice berries
- 2 teaspoons (4 g) fenugreek
- 1 teaspoon (4 g) black peppercorns
- ¼ cup (40 g) dried onion flakes
- 2 Tablespoons (24 g) dried garlic flakes
- ½ cup (80 g) sweet paprika
- ½ teaspoon (1 g) ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon (1 g) ground turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon (1 g) ground nutmeg
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 30 seconds or until a fine powder is achieved.
