Cold Brew Cappuccino
An industry first! A blending container that can both whip and froth cold skim milk. This is ideal when wanting to keep your cold brew coffee at full strength.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) cold skim milk
- ½ teaspoon instant espresso powder
- 1 cup (240 ml) cold brew coffee
- 2 cups (260 g) ice cubes
- sweetener, if desired
Directions
- Place milk and instant espresso into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Select the lowest setting. Start the machine, slowly increase to Variable 6, and blend for 30 seconds. (If making a half recipe for a single serving, reduce the blending time to 15 seconds.)
- Portion equally into 2 (16-ounce) (480-ml) cups. Pour ½ cup (120 ml) cold brew coffee over each glass. Top with 1 cup (130 g) ice cubes per cup. Sweeten if desired.
Notes
Important: Cold skim milk is a must for this recipe. It will not work with 1%, 2%, or whole milk. Likewise, it needs to be as cold as possible. A lower speed with the skim milk is what helps create this foam. Recipe makes2 1/4 cups (540 ml) milk foam. To make date syrup use the recipe.

OMG!
This recipes is amazing! So good! Next time I’m going to add a bit of cocoa to it for a mocha cappuccino cold brew. This heaven in a glass!
This is my second recipe with this new Aer container and I am loving it. The first was the ice tea with lemon. That was great too! Wow oh wow!

love it!
I've been obsessed with the pumpkin cold brew at that giant coffee chain this fall... but when the aer disc went on sale for black friday, I had to get one! this makes the PERFECT cold foam! I like to put my skim milk in a metal cup to chill in the fridge while I'm getting everything else ready... so fluffy! the possibilities are endless!!!

Amazing
The aer disc makes foamed milk for iced coffee a breeze! Follow the tips and be sure to use skim milk and keep it cold, and blend at the lower settings. This is a delicious recipe. I wouldn't change a thing.

Foam for days! And pies too ;)
Bought this just to make cold foam for my coffee and it is wonderful. Must use skim milk for foam that lasts. I even topped my apple pie with some pumpkin spice cold foam sweetened with maple syrup; plan on doing so w pumpkin pie too. Made a beautiful lavender foam for Earl Grey tea and cold matcha latte. Cant wait to make my egg jog with this blade! This made great aoli too.

Good, But Not Great...(Modified)
My husband made this today and modified it for non-dairy and low caffeine (due to an elimination diet).
We used high-fat Coconut milk, which blended and frothed beautifully. Our error was not using decaf coffee powder as finely-ground as Espresso. We also used 2 dates (Medjool) to sweeten them.
Next time, we’ll add another date (or use date-paste). It blended very well and the overall “feel” mirrored that of a coffee shop product.
