Basic Green Smoothie
A delicious blend of sweet and citrus fruits easily masks the spinach in this green smoothie.
Ingredients
- 1 (120 g) medium bananas, peeled
- 3 cups (450 g) green grapes
- 2 (260 g) medium oranges, peeled
- 2 slices (160 g) pineapple, peeled, with core
- 3 cups (90 g) fresh spinach
- 1 slice (6 g) lime, 1/4" slice
- 2 cups (260 g) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
- Blend for 45 seconds, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.
Chef's Notes
If all ingredients don't fit into your container, simply start the blend and drop ingredients through hte lid plug opening.

Great Smoothie!
I just bought the latest Vitamix and when i tried this smoothie, it was incredible. The flavoring was nice and good. I usually don't like spinach, but in this smoothie, i didn't even taste it! It is also good for on the go. I would really recommend this smoothie to others.

I really enjoy this smoothie, it is a really good balance of flavor. I first tasted this at a Home and Garden Trade show and it has become my favorite 'morning' smoothie.

Best Smoothie ever
I bought the Vitamix 2 weeks ago and have made a different smoothie every day but I have to say this is my favorite one. You don't need the agave it's great tasting all by it's self.

Yummy Smoothie
First week with my new Vitamix we are LOVING it! I omitted the banana (I find it overpowers) I cut the recipe is 1/4 and made in my 20oz container (since I am experimenting with different smoothie recipes-good thing since I would have drank all four servings). Going out to buy more groceries so I can try more!

Too Sweet
I have a sweet tooth, and this receipe was too sweet for me. I didn't use the 2 Tablespoons agave nectar in the smoothie, and the grapes made it too sweet.

In Love
Finally made the plunge and bought my first Vitamix. Absolutely love it! Thanks to the representative on the phone at Vitamix who helped me to choose the correct one for me. Have made soup, smoothies, chopped veggies and made cracker crumbs so far. Favorite appliance in the kitchen.
