Cherry, Pistachio, Cardamom kombucha Smoothie
A unique blend of flavor, with the probiotic help of kombucha.
Ingredients
- 1½ cup (360 ml) kombucha
- 1 cup (125 g) frozen peache slices, slices (thawed)
- 2 Tablespoons pistachios, shelled
- 1 Tablespoon honey, optional
- ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
- ½ frozen banana, peeled, halved
- 1 cup (140 g) frozen cherries
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
- Blend for 1 minute 20 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
Chef's Notes
Adding nuts to your smoothie is a great way to add additional fiber, protein and fat, helping you stay fuller longer.

An explosion of cherry flavour
This is a smoothie where the cherry flavour really shines: the kombucha adds a nice tartness that complements the sweetness of the cherries and the pistachios and cardamom are grounding elements. Probably one of the best smoothies I've ever had.

My alltime FAVE!
Absolutely love this one! I skip the honey and add a handful of greens. When I'm feeling sassy I add 1/4 cup of full fat plain greek yogurt :) Delish!
