Yummy weekend drink!
We often drink Irish coffee on weekends and this was a nice twist! I actually added a little amaretto and chocolate liqueur to make it more like Spanish coffee - you could add a variety of extras to tweek it to your liking! I love my new Vitamix ... I find new ways to use it every day!!!

Nice change for summer
I love a good Irish Coffee and was intrigued with this frozen version. The original recipe was far to sweet for my liking and so on my second attempt I cut the sugar significantly, only adding 1 Tbsp. I also left out the Bailey's and simply doubled the whiskey. This allowed the flavor of the coffee to really come through and not be overpowered by sweetness.

Tastes great!
I added the new Almande Baileys flavor and a scoop of vanilla protein powder. Delish!

Excellent appliance
Every day I prepare my breakfast in my Vitamix blender, where I mix: a glass of cashew milk, a banana, a tablespoon of chia, a tablespoon of grated coconut, 2 strawberries, lemon zest. It really is an excellent appliance and I highly recommend it.

I LOVE Irish coffee!!
This recipe looks awesome! There is only one small problem...I'm not able to get the recipe for the container I have. I've got the E310 so it has the 48oz low profile container. Is there any difference in this recipe for my machine?

Not impressed
I made this for my husband. He wasn’t impressed with the dates. They remained pulpy and chewy, even though I processed it for longer than indicated. Also, he would have preferred a stronger coffee flavor.
