Mango Sorbet

A delicious, light and refreshing mango sorbet, low in saturated fat and cholesterol.

  • 3 (1 kg) mango
  • 3½ cup (525 g) frozen mango chunks
  • 2¼ cup (300 g) ice cubes


  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.
  3. In about 30-60 seconds, the sound of the motor will change and four mounds should form. Stop the machine. Do not over mix or melting will occur. Serve immediately.

Chef's Notes

Freeze unused sorbet in an airtight container. When ready to use, allow to soften at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving.
