Warm Apple Ginger Smoothie
A warming blend of apple juice, apples, lemon zest, fresh ginger, and pumpkin pie spice.
- 1 cup (240 ml) apple juice
- 2 (320 g) apple, quartered, seeded
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 Piece (3 g) fresh ginger root
- ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
- Blend for 2 minutes, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blade.
This smoothie is nice and warm, with just enough spice to help you during those cold winter months.
