Nacho Cheese Sauce
Classic nacho cheese sauce to dip tortillas, veggies or drizzle on tacos.
Ingredients
- 1 cups (320 ml) milk
- 1 cups (175 g) cheddar cheese, cubed
- ¼ cup (60 g) butter
- ¼ cup (30 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 large jalapeño, roasted
- 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Hot Soup Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 7 minutes 30 seconds.
Notes
Make this your own by adding sautéed red onions, chipotle in adobo or roasted red peppers to enhance the flavor. Try dipping our soft pretzel bites in this cheese and you will feel like you are at the Big Game!
