Self-Detect™ Technology

Your Ascent™ Series blender will recognize the container and automatically adjust blend settings for its size.

Containers and lids are made of BPA-free Eastman Tritan®.

Easy to Clean
Container and lid are both dishwasher-safe, or let them self-clean by blending a drop of dish soap and warm water for 35 seconds.

Long-Lasting Blades

Specially Designed Tamper

Rated 5 out of 5 by jenPump from This container is a game changer for me I purchased the Ascent A3500 blender and was getting frustrated, almost to the point of returning it. My batches just never blended the way I wanted or had experienced in my original Vitamix. For example, I especially like to make whole fruit sorbets with frozen fruit. Mine would just spin around the blades and never get smooth enough. I read some reviews about the smaller container and decided to try. OMG! I feel like I should tell my 3500 I'm sorry, it's not you it was me! I was using too large of a container. Now I get the perfect blend every time. If you make batches for just 1 or 2 servings, this smaller container is a MUST.

I think Vitamix should offer their blenders with either the choice of the 48 ounce container or the 64 ounce container instead of only the 64 ounce container and making the consumer spend another $145 for the smaller container. I think they would sell more blenders that way. Aside from that, Vitamix blenders are the best! I am happy I took the plunge and finally splurged for a Vitamix.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MEtwo from Nice smaller version I love having the smaller version but it doesn't really fit well on the base. It tends to move and sometimes the motor makes a louder noise. I called customer service and they said that is what happens with this smaller container, so I'm guessing it's not harming my whole machine. Otherwise I do like having a smaller container.

Rated 4 out of 5 by IMR18 from Great container but old blade removal tool doesn't MY old 48oz container was too loose on my new 7500 so COSTCO had a new one available at the road show. They said it would fit better and it does. 95% of the time we use the 48 oz container. The 64 oz is only for when we have company or are making something like soup. I was surprised that should I need to change out the blade that my old tool will not fit this unit. This is my third Vitamix and we use it 2-3 times a day. Other than the microwave and counter top oven this is the most used small appliance.

And the 20oz individual containers that were purchased for me as a birthday gift.. I love my Vitamix Blender... Can't believe it is so amazing!!! I use it at least once a day. 48oz makes perfect healthy breakfast smoothies for two. But probably could be 3or 4. Depending on size and contents.
