Personal Cup Adapter is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 324.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not really impressed. Like the cups. I purchased mine at Costco, I'm always excited about Vitamix products. This one not so much. I think it takes to much work to use the attachment. Maybe if I could access it from the top/bottom. I was trying to make a smoothie and I had to keep hitting the bottom/top to get it to move. Yes, I did add liquids to it. Enough, maybe not. Anyways, I'll return it and hopefully the design will be updated the next time around. I do like the shorter and fatter containers that will fit under the counters. Mine is really tall. Maybe next time I'll purchase one of them. Anyways, we are all different with our needs and feedback. I still LOVE my VITAMIX.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ehhh So I bought this at Costco, I've been waiting for a personal size. I do have to turn it over occasionally to give it a quick shake. But that's not my biggest issue. The base it sits in is huge and clunky. The plastic piece has holes on the bottom so it's not to catch in case you messed up putting the cup on... trust me, it was a mess. It would be much better if it was a smaller adapter like they have with the blending bowls. Something simple that could screw on flip, blend, remove and put the lid on and go. I love the personal cups the adapter piece is just a terrible design. I really hope they are come out with a better one and are willing to swap them out later on!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful I make a lot of individual shakes and mousse. I have had my Vitamix for years and love it but when I make certain shakes, I lose a lot in the blade that I can't get to. When I saw this attachment at Costco I was so excited. I though I was going to have my Vitamix Potter and the convenience of a ninja. I am so disappointed. The adapter is so big and bulky. Trying to attach and remove the cup and such a pain. Then when I put my ingredients in the cup and attach it to the adapter, they all stick to the bottom of the cup which becomes the top when the cup is flipped over. Bottom line is that there is nothing convenient about this attachment. Total waste of money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some advantages...and disadvantages I like to use the cup adapter for my morning smoothie. I like it because instead of a glass and a blender jar to wash up I only have the blending cup to wash up (and a quick rinse to the adapter). I also like it because I feel there is less waste of the smoothie contents - since some of the smoothie sticks to the blender jar that part would before be lost...The disadvantage is that you need to be fairly accurate with the ingredients because you can not stick in a tamper to adjust or add to it without taking it all apart and also, if you fill it too much the contents seem to expand and then it leaks. Even with the small advantages I do use it every day and rarely have issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible design the reason smaller blenders sell so well is that they are easy to clean. This adapter is huge and has holes, it's a pain to clean. Because of the horrible design, I can see that it's easy for anyone to misalign the adapter and run the mixer and have smoothies all over their kitchen! I know I had some leakage the very first time I used this thing. I wanted a smaller jar so much with my vitamix but I'd rather return this, sell my vitamix and buy the ascent series where I can use small jars without adapters. It's unfortunate that I've to go through so much effort to be able to use small jars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great for daily smoothies I have owned my vitamix for 5 years , love that powerhouse!! I saw the attachment for personal cups and had to have one. Love the concept. A few adjustments to be made if you are used to the big blender. Add more liquid!! Because it is tall and narrow, you need to have more liquid to mix it all up. It is loud. I used to be able to make my smoothies without bothering the late sleepers. Now it is their alarm clock. Make sure the personal cup is tightly attached to the blender adapter. I love being able to blend up breakfast, rinse the adapter, pop on the top and run out the door. Having two bottles is nice too, once your house is awake, they can make themselves one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You dropped the ball Vitamix I have owned a Vita Mix for 35 years. Upgraded twice and I love them. Would never be without one, so after a few years of hoping a personal cup size would be created, I was thrilled. It is the worst design I have seen. I have to take it off the machine and shake it all the time to get the ingredients to mix. I follow the directions to the letter. You can't get a spoon down to the bottom of the cup, nor can you put a rag in there to clean it. Also, I have such a hard time unscrewing the cup from that awful contraption around it. Sorry Vita Mix, it's going back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed. I am a huge Vitamix fan and was so excited about this product. I bought it for a birthday present to myself. I have been wanting a smaller option. Sometimes I break out my son's bullet for a small batch but it doesn't blend like my Vitamix. There is nothing positive to say about the design. The cup is extremely small. Half quantity of a bullet. So small it is hard to blend. The adaptor is large and chunky and awkward to put on. Hard to line up. They missed the mark on this. I returned it and will wait for a redesign.
