I left out the grapes, but it was still delicious
I made two changes: 1) I left out the grapes (I didn't have any in the house), and 2) I replaced the grapes and pineapple juice with a full call of pineapple chunks in natural juice. I loved the spinach and broccoli addition because of the green color they provided, plus they are raw greens! The avocado made a huge difference. I couldn't believe how creamy half an avocado made the smoothie. It had a really nice mouth-feel. It felt smooth to sip and swallow. My husband isn't a fan of the idea of green drinks so he wouldn't let me make him one - but I gave him a sip, and he did like it.

Good but needed extras
It was good the first time I made this but the green smoothie recipe in the quick start guide has WAY more flavor and more fulfilling. The second time I made this I added 1/2 banana, and a half can (15 oz can) rinsed and drained cannellini beans. These two additions made it much more filling and very creamy!

Love it!
Without reading any reviews, I left out the pineapple juice because I just don’t drink any store bought juice, but it’s still tasty. I was skeptical with having spinach, broccoli & avocado together. I love them separately of course :). This is a great start to my morning.

Some modifications and it was great!
I didn't have grapes so used some local ripe green plums and added half a frozen banana.
I also used frozen pineapple instead of pineapple juice and coconut water instead of plain water and it was fantastic!

No to the broccoli
I made this smoothie with a friend of mine that has been making smoothies pretty much every day for the past several years. She looked at me funny when I said broccoli, but we reduced the amount and tried it anyway. It was pretty terrible in my opinion. She is all about greens and even she struggled to drink it. I may give it another go one of these days without the broccoli. As for now I'll be avoiding anything that suggests you can hide broccoli in a smoothie.

Too much sugar
Loved the taste but 18 g sugar is a lot. Any suggestions?

Pretty good
This is a good smoothie, made rich by the avocado. But it is not as sweet and tasty as the going green smoothie recipe in the QuickStart Guide. So far that one is my an my family's favorite. Might try adding a 1/2 a banana to this one next time.
