Remarques

Love My Vitamix
I make a similar one with adding just a touch of honey and some greek youghart and frozen mango (or any frozen fruits...I particularly love the frozen blueberries and mango mix) I pour them into ice cube trays and freeze them....when wanting a fast treat ...I place a few cubes (I remove them from ice cube trays and put them in a container in freezer for easy access) I place a few in a bowl and wait about 10 minutes and yum yum yum . I try and advoid the sugar so wondering if you can sub some honey in this one .

Ingredients too complicated, advance prep is key
When I make mango sorbet, I use only mangos that I froze myself into chunks beforehand. I buy them at a local fruit market, waiting for the sales of very ripe mangos where you can smell them within several inches of your nose and the fruit yields slightly to the touch. These need to be peeled, cut up into ice cube sized pieces, and frozen promptly. That is all that goes into my sorbet - no added sugar, no ice cubes. Tastes fabulously mango-ey. People at work go nuts when I bring in the frozen chunks and the Vitamix and make it in front of them. They can't believe how creamy the texture is- and there is nothing in there that is bad for you (unless you are allergic)..

I tried this recipe today with a little twist of adding few pineapple pieces to it as I was short on mango and extra sugar cuz I luv my ice cream a bit sweet. My family loved it ❤️
