Ice Cream Soup
Family very disappointed with Ice Cream Soup. The mixture never froze. We ended up putting the mixture into our ice cream machine. It was very tasty and frozen as ice cream should be. Feeling very mislead as one of the reasons why we bought it was that the salesperson told us it makes ice cream in minutes. The prep work to put the liquid into ice cube trays, remembering to freeze ahead of time, pain of getting the cubes out, is just not worth the hassle. I can make ice cream so much quicker and better in my ice cream maker! I will not be donating it as the salesperson suggested I would be able to do to free up space in the kitchen.

Quick, Easy, Tasty
I always keep a supply of frozen milk cubes stored in the freezer in a ziplock bag to make it quick & easy to whip up some tasty ice cream. To make it lighter, use skim milk and Splenda. To ramp it up, add heavy cream or even half&half in place of the liquid milk. After blending, if the four mounds do not form, add additional frozen milk cubes to thicken the mixture up to soft serve consistency. For chocolate ice cream, add Hershey's chocolate syrup to initial blending. Or, add add fresh/frozen strawberries for an extra yummy treat. Enjoy!

Iced iced milk baby
My third blend was the ice cream recipe because I could not resist. I chose the chocolate ice cream recipe. I have all the bells and whistles with my perfect blend. I used great chocolate power plus espresso powder. The flavor was delicious and definitely quality top of the line flavor, but I was very disappointed in the texture. I wanted to follow recipe to gauge my new blender's recipe and the always emphasized "ice cream" this blender can make in minutes. I suggest calling it ice milk because that what it is and it's not a frozen custard or close to creamy ice cream texture, taste 10... ice cream 3. Delicious chocolate ice milk 10. That's all

Real vanilla ice cream in vitamix
I changed the recipe bc ice cream means it to be made w cream. I used 1 cup of heavy cream and 24 frozen heavy cream cubes (made in ice cube trays) then I add 1 cup powdered sugar and a tsp of non alcohol vanilla extract. Blend in order given till mounds form. Will come out as thick custard and place in plastic container w lid to get firmer. My grandchildren love it. You can add chips or whatever. Best part it is nut free!

amazing machine
Love that I can make ice cream at home without all the fuss. I have made different flavors and all are great. I have also made soup, flour, smoothies and nut butter with it, absolutely love the Vitamix.

Perfect Vanilla Ice Cream
I substituted milk with heavy whipping cream. I also used heavy whipping cream for the ice cubes. I used 1-1/2 teaspoons of imitation vanilla. Placed in Vitamix in the order given for 30 seconds using the temper a little. Complete when 4 mounds formed. Perfect!

Amazing non fat ice cream
I'm in heaven. I was so tired of turning bananas into healthy icecream. This is the best, I didn't have any frozen milk cubes and was really craving icecream, so I used skim milk, ice cubes, powdered milk, spleda and vanilla. Simply amazing.
