Salsa Verde de Tampico

This simple to prepare salsa is a fresh and crisp accompaniment to seafood, chicken, and pork dishes.


  • 3 jalapeños, seeded, halved
  • 60 g (½ ) small onion, peeled, halved
  • 5 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) olive oil
  • 20 g (½ cup) fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano


  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
  2. Select Variable 6.
  3. Use the On/Off switch to quickly pulse (8-10 times) until chopped to a slightly coarse consistency.
