Vanilla Almond Milk
Homemade almond milk with the addition of vanilla.
- 150 g (1½ cup) almonds
- 960 ml (4 cups) water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- Place ingredients in the order listed into the Vitamix Container and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
- Blend for 1 minute.
- Serve as-is, or for a smoother milk strain through a filtration bag before serving.
Add 125 g (¼ cup) sesame seeds for added calcium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jennister from Yum Love this recipe because it is SIMPLE. You need ingredients listed (PRESOAK for at least 2 hours). Pour into Blender and blend. I use my Gold COFFEE FILTERS and save the pulp for my smoothies.. YUM
