Refreshing, Versatile Recipe
I've made this several times now, varying the ingredients. It's so good that I get my chia seeds soaking for the next batch as soon as I've made a smoothie. One of my favorite combinations is the chia water, 5 dates, frozen blueberries and lemon. Yum!

Get more health benefits
More health benefits can be realized if you use organic limes and keep the peel on.

Surprisingly Good
I usually don’t like the way chia seeds look once they have been soaked. The Vitamix helped blend them so that they were totally mixed and smooth. So good!

It's okay as is
Basically date-sweetened water with the protein benefits in chia seed. But It is filling. This is all I take for lunch and you will be filled. I might try the addition of blueberry and lemon from the other comment. I think the other comments gave me too high of an expectation.

Addictivly delicious and refreshing
Since weeks now this is my morning drink I am craving. So refreshing, satisfying nutritious. I made it with limes and lemons, added the zest of one lime or lemon to intensify the taste. It’s a perfect summer drink!

Kind of Gross
I don't think the lime helps. Chia might be good mixed in with another smoothie but as a "water" it was not refreshing or tasty.
