Mango Smoothie
Mango, orange and vanilla yoghurt make this smoothie sweet and creamy with a light citrus note.
Ingredients
- 180 g (¾ cup) reduced-fat vanilla yoghurt, or yogurt alternative
- 60 ml (¼ cup) water
- 125 g (1 medium) orange, peeled, halved
- 150 g (1 cup) frozen mango chunks
- 65 g (½ cup) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
- Blend for 45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
Notes
This recipe can easily be doubled in the 64-ounce container to serve a group of 5 to 6. Try using almond milk yogurt to create a delicious vegan smoothie!

This is nice and thick and tastes like mangos. Nutmeg on top is good too.

Love This Machine!
I bought this VitaMix machine about seven or so years ago. I keep it on my counter so I have easy access to it. I've never had a problem with it. And it's still going strong! I love coming home on a hot day, throwing come fresh and frozen fruit in it for a refreshing fruit and or veggie drink for dinner. And it makes some great soups for those cold nights too.

Basic and easy
You really can't go wrong with mango and orange. Common subs in my house are to use frozen mango. Or to use the sugar free mandarin orange fruit cups. To sneak veggies in I go with sweet potato, or carrots, or summer squash-depending on what I have on hand.

Tasty!
My adult son was visiting and asked for something sweet..... I had mangos in the freezer so pulled this recipe up. Used vanilla greek yogurt because that's what I had. Son said "Wow, this tastes like 50/50 ice cream"! I sampled it and it's tasty indeed!

Nice, simple recipe for new Vitamix user
Very tasty. Didn't have any yogurt so subbed in almond milk which also made this lactose free.
