Mocha Mint Shake

This chocolate-mint-mocha shake is fun for festive entertaining. Garnish with a candy cane for added colour and flare.

Mocha Mint Shake

Ingredients

  • 240 ml (1 cup) almond milk
  • 420 g (2 cups) dairy free frozen yogurt, or vanilla frozen yogurt
  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 60 ml (ΒΌ cup) chocolate sauce, or cocoa powder
  • 4 teaspoons instant espresso powder
  • 260 g (2 cups) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 30 seconds, using the tamper as necessary to press ingredients toward the blades.

Chef's Notes

For a non-dairy alternative, use soya milk and soya ice cream.
