Strawberry Grand Marnier Sorbet
The sweet orange marmalade and hazelnut flavours of Grand Marnier combine with strawberries and orange juice in this sweet frozen treat.
- 360 ml (1½ cup) orange juice
- 80 ml (⅓ cup) Grand Marnier
- 680 g (1½ pounds) frozen strawberries
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.
- In about 30-60 seconds, the sound of the motor will change and four mounds should form. Stop machine. Do not over mix or melting will occur. Serve immediately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BarbH from Delicious Sorbet I made this sorbet exactly as directed. It was delicious but a little tart so we drizzled just a small amount of honey on top. Next time (and I will definitely make this again), I will add a little honey to the recipe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JoniW from Perfect in stainless steel, with modifications I didn't have grand marnier or orange juice, so substituted 1/4 cup of basil lemonade leftover from another Vitamix recipe and 1/4 cup of Triple Sec. I also added a couple tablespoons of agave syrup since the lemonade was extremely tart. The texture was absolutely perfect & we will definitely make this again. It was pretty enough to serve to guests!
