Nice taste
This is an easy great tasting recipe. One minor adjustment for next time. I used a few strips of lime zest instead of lemon. This gave a bitter aftertaste. I will have to be sure to use lemon rind and not overdo it.

Some little tweak would make this a five star!
I think pouring this over crushed ice would be super! There'd be a little heat from the ginger, and the cold from the ice - a great combination. Next time.

Apple ginger smoothie
Good recipe, I used 1/2 cup of apple sauce as my tree was plentiful this year so cooked some down, then added 1 cup almond milk...really good for fall!!!!

Delicious but precise amts needed
This was good for my first Vitamix smoothie. Only recommendation would be to provide a bit more details about how much ginger. Perhaps the length? I don’t have a scale to determine the weight and broke off a knob. Turned out it was too much. Cleaned my sinuses though. I will definitely make it again....though with less ginger.

High in sugar!!
I plan to try this BUT will replace the cup of apple juice with water instead. Many of the smoothies you feature are very high in sugar and I try to steer clear of not-so-healthy drinks of this sort, that is why I alter the original recipe. Other than the sugar it looks like a nice autumn treat.

Good With Adjustments
I liked the basic elements of the recipe, but added coconut milk to make it creamy and greens to up the nutrition. I used applesauce in place of apple juice because I didn't have this. I used 2-3x the spice amounts to give it a more apple pie flavor.

Meh!
The warm apple ginger drink was interesting. Not spicy, just warm. Could have maybe used a little allspice? The thing I found a bit off putting was the texture. It felt a bit like finely blended applesauce on the tongue. My not- so-picky 4 & 6 yo. weren't a fan.
