Instant Hit!
Ok, so day 2 of our new family member, Vitamix (Mr.Red) just happened to be New Year’s Eve. Had a bunch of people over and had planned on making this recipe, until one of the adults stated they had not drank (couldn’t even stand the smell) of Tequila since college, lol! I decided to make it anyway, with faith in Mr. Red, and 100% agave tequila:)
As I was peeling the fruit everyone was asking what I was making, , , following the directions 99%. I used simple syrup instead of sugar, but same quantity. Blended it for maybe 15-20 seconds,Voila, an instant hit! The guest who hadn’t had tequila in 25 years LOVED it! Ha! She actually “yelled” and cussed at me due to how much she couldn’t believe she liked it:) it made my night!! So glad we bought such a powerful, yet easy to use machine!!

Who makes the best margaritas? Well, now I do!
I am ruined for any restaurant margarita; darn you Vitamix! I have served this to a couple of people who said they "hated" tequila, and now love it because of this drink. A hint too; you can make a large batch of this and put it in a container in the freezer. The alcohol will keep it from freezing and you can simply stir it and scoop into your glass, keeping blended margaritas on hand for a couple of days.

Amazing, just needs one adjustment.
The only thing I changed was I used 4 Tbsp. of Agave nectar.

OMG! So good!
Just received my Vitamix yesterday. After work today I made a half version of the whole fruit margarita recipe. All I can say is WOW. I knew that the Vitamix was in a class all its own (hello price tag!), but even in my wildest dreams I did not imagine I could make drinks like this at home. Truly the best frozen drink maker out there!! I'm going to enjoy experimenting and seeing what else this baby can do!

Good start, but weak taste, needs more everything
Double the fruit, double the booze, then you’ve got a margarita (or half the ice, but where’s the fun in that?).
