Suprisingly good!
This was recommended by a friend. I was a little skeptical because there were so many greens. The flavor is very good and it is so filling because of all the fiber. My friend has it for breakfast for a great start to her day. I am going to make this my daily nutritional drink, too!

Surprisingly good!
I was a little scared of all the greens, but it's actually really good! I used a 5 oz package of romaine hearts, which was 2 whole romaine hearts. I can't imagine using the full 12 oz, I don't think it would all fit in the blender! I used the cilantro and parsley and all other listed ingredients, plus a small piece of fresh ginger, 1 tbsp of hemp seeds, a little stevia, and an extra banana. This made about 7 cups of smoothie. Was a good portion for 2 adults for breakfast. Will be making again frequently!

First time Smoothie maker!
I was so apprehensive to make a smoothie, because I only used to make them in my cuisine art blender...chunky and horrible. But did this recipe for my first time, using my Vitamix, and I'm shook! SOOO good. I didn't have pear on hand, didn't add herbs and used coconut water instead...it was excellent. I'll never buy an overpriced smoothie from Whole Foods again. I have the 64 oz classic Vitamix, and adjusted the recipe using the 48 oz option in the drop down menu and it was the perfect amount for 2 people.

Pure Goodness
The vitamix directions are perfect. The taste of the smoothie is pleasant, not necessarily yummy... so I took a 12oz portion as my breakfast & added a few ice cubes & Stevia. The smoothie is so pleasing because you get the overwhelming sense of purity and goodness.

How does it keep?
This makes ALOT but looks great. Will it keep well in the fridge for a day or 2?

Grows on you
Questioned whether I'd like this one or not because of the ecliptic ingredient list, but it's surprisingly not bad. I did include parsley and cilantro. It's also very filling. Didn't have cravings for much else the entire day. Will make again.

Great
I was wondering how we would like it. It tasted much better after adding another banana! I did not use parsley or cilantro. Will make again!

This was the first thing I made with my Vitamix. I've been making it for breakfast for 4 months! It's delicious!
