Vanilla Almond Milk
Homemade almond milk with the addition of vanilla.
Ingredients
- 1½ cup (150 g) almonds
- 4 cups (960 ml) water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Place ingredients in the order listed into the Vitamix Container and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
- Blend for 1 minute.
- Serve as-is, or for a smoother milk strain through a filtration bag before serving.
Notes
Add ¼ cup (125 g) sesame seeds for added calcium.

Not complete
I just ordered my Vitamix and this was the first recipe I looked at on your site and noticed that for the almond milk you didn't specify what quantity of almonds you added to the mix. I hope the others are more complete.

Love this recipe because it is SIMPLE. You need ingredients listed (PRESOAK for at least 2 hours). Pour into Blender and blend. I use my Gold COFFEE FILTERS and save the pulp for my smoothies.. YUM
