Cherries and Butternut Squash with Millet Baby Food
This dish is chock-full of wonderful health benefits for your baby. From the antioxidants in the cherries and the dietary fiber in the squash, to the protein in the millet, it’s the perfect trifecta!
Ingredients
- ⅔ cup (100 g) fresh cherries, pitted
- ⅓ cup (70 g) butternut squash, peeled, diced, roasted, and cooled
- ¼ cup (45 g) cooked millet, cooled
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) breast milk or your choice of alternative milk product
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Select Variable 1 or the 8-ounce Purée program (if available).
- Start the machine, slowly increase to its highest speed, and blend for 1 minute; or start the machine and allow the 8-ounce Purée program to complete.
