Breakfast Margarita

With blanco tequila, Cointreau, frozen mango and pear nectar, a festive alternative to the traditional mimosa.


  • 1½ fluidounce (45 ml) tequila blanco
  • 1 fluidounce (30 ml) Cointreau
  • 1 fluidounce (30 ml) pear nectar
  • 1 lemon, peeled, halved
  • 1 Large orange, peeled, halved
  • 1 piece (5 g) fresh ginger root
  • 1 cup (150 g) frozen mango chunks
  • 1½ cup (195 g) ice cubes


  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
  2. Select Variable 1.
  3. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
  4. Blend for 30 seconds or until smooth, but slushy, using the tamper to press the ingredients into the blades.
