My Vitamix saves the day!! Again!!
I thoroughly enjoy my vitamix machine. Tonight I needed icing sugar to glaze some special Thanksgiving PumpkinSpice Oatmeal cookies and couldn't find any in my pantry. I was going to have to run to the store ... until I remembered I could make some in my vitamix ... sweet!! I also love being able to grind my own whole wheat flour and cracked wheat ... making just enough for a recipe so it's always fresh!
I bought one for daughter so she could enjoy similar advantages in her kitchen.

Easy recipe and tastes just like store bought
Great way to make powdered sugar when you're out! And it tastes just like store bought.

One less thing to keep in the cupboard!
Honestly, why didn't I think of this years ago? Thanks to Vitamix, I soon won't need any cupboards at all! No need to keep all of these "premixed" items-just get a few ingredients for the pantry and you're "good to go!"

Fresh taste!
I avoid the commercial processed powdered sugar as it has an odd taste. I think it's from the additives. A little cornstarch in this recipe is fine. Tastes good!
