Sopa espesa de poro y col rizada
Esta sopa de intenso sabor tiene una gran textura, ya que la mitad de los ingredientes se licua en su Vitamix, mientras que la otra se cuece a fuego lento en la estufa.
- 1 poro lavado y rebanado
- 2 cucharaditas de aceite de oliva
- 6 tazas (335 g) de col rizada picada y sin los tallos
- 4 tazas (960 ml) de caldo de pollo
- Sal y pimienta al gusto
- Saltee el poro en el aceite de oliva hasta que esté blando. Agregue la col rizada y cueza hasta que esté crocante.
- Agregue el caldo y cocine durante 30 minutos a fuego lento y deje enfriar durante 10-15 minutos o hasta que la temperatura llegue a 120°F (65°C).
- Coloque la sopa en el vaso de la Vitamix y cierre bien la tapa.
- Seleccione la velocidad 1.
- Encienda la licuadora e incremente poco a poco la velocidad hasta 10 y luego, hasta nivel Alto.
- Licúe durante 45 segundos hasta obtener una mezcla sin grumos.
- Vierta la mezcla de nuevo en la cacerola y caliente durante 10 minutos o justo cuando comience a hervir. Salpimiente al gusto.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mojo from Delicious Leek and kale soup is awesome. Heeding some of the other reviews I decided to add some items while the Leek and kale was in the chicken broth for a half hour. I sautéed half an onion and put in just a handful of cannellini beans. I didn't want the onion to overtake the leek. Will totally be making this again. Also the recipe doesnt remind you to take half out before you put it in the vitamix so don't forget! I took out only a quarter of the Leek, kale, beans, and onion. Yum.

She usually does not like soup, but ate this and asked for more. I made a little adjustment by adding bullion and so fresh hot pepper since we like everything spicy. It was really good, creamy and tasty.

I wanted to add a soup course, but was challenged to find a recipe that didn't include items they weren't eating (e.g. dairy, beans, potatoes, squash). This was the only one I found that also got good reviews. I made this, and not only did they finish their bowls, they even asked for the recipe. Only change I'd make is to add some more spices.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BarbB326 from Loved this recipe! I really enjoyed this recipe but I could tell it was going to lack some seasoning, hence the 4 stars. I used EVOO and garlic infused olive oil, seasoned salt and added minced garlic. The final results were delicious.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GMama from Good Green Flavor I made this soup for lunch today. For me it was OK. I'm an omnivore. I'll make the soup again but with a little garlic and a dollop of plain yogurt. My husband (a carnivore) said it was tasty but didn't stick to his ribs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Alisha from Not my favourite soup. Pros: I liked that this soup contained a lot of fresh, green veggies. Used up a lot of extra kale from my garden. Found the recipe to be quite easy. Cons: Flavour was definitely missing something, even after I incorporated the suggestions from other reviewers. I added both garlic and onion. None of the flavours were overpowering, but the finish seemed too acidic in the end. Nobody was a fan of the final colour or texture - kind of looked like baby food. Won't make this one again.

The greens were overpowering to me, not soft and gentle. Leeks are gentle in flavor, so that seemed right. The garlic and spiced salt perked it up. I tried adding some lemon juice, and that didn't do it either.
