- 15 onzas (425 g) de garbanzos enlatados enjuagados y escurridos
- 2 cucharadas de salsa picante
- 120 ml (½ taza) de tahini
- 2 cucharadas de jugo de limón amarillo
- 1 diente de ajo
- 3 g (1 cucharadita) de sal
- Vierta todos los ingredientes en el vaso de la Vitamix en el orden indicado y cierre bien la tapa.
- Seleccione la velocidad 1.
- Encienda la licuadora y aumente poco a poco la velocidad hasta llegar a la máxima.
- Licúe durante 1 minuto o hasta que no queden grumos. Use la barra presionadora para dirigir los ingredientes hacia las cuchillas.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Blending Fool from Came out great! Followed the recipe but used garlic tahini so I left out the garlic clove. Served drizzled with olive oil and a light coating of paprika. A review stated there were no sesame seeds in the recipe, but tahini is a paste from ground sesame seeds and is what is used when making traditional hummus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pinkballoon from Very smooth hummus This recipe makes a very smooth hummus but I did not use the tamper, I added about a 1/4 cup of water when the ingredients became too thick and then I turned it on high, stopped it once and cleaned down the sides with a small spatula, resumed and it turned out very smooth and delish. Two tablespoons of Frank's hot sauce makes it only mildly spicy which is fine by me.
