Excellent quality, durable, strong
I was given this as a gift nearly a year ago and have gotten SO much use out of the same one, primarily for nut-milks and juices, I haven't tried sprouting yet. The quality is fantastic; it's well-made, thick, durable, and does an excellent job of straining. Personally, I don't find it difficult to clean at all; turn it inside out, do whatever you'd like with the pulp, give it a good rinse, and toss it in the dishwasher or just hand wash it. It will stain after a while but that's merely cosmetic, no big deal at all. I'm not sure what the material is but it's much much nicer than nylon bags that are on the market, and like I said, the quality of it can't be beat. 110% love this thing.

Great filtering bag, thought it is hard to clean
I ordered this bag because it is made out of hemp fiber, I thought that is better than plastic bags for environmental reason. It filters very well, and the bag is very well made. Though this rectangular shape and the fabric makes it quite hard to clean. The plastic ones with round shape is much better afterwards, they don't leave anything left after you empty the pouch. This one you have to flip it inside out, and then all the corners gets powder stuck in there so you have to get it out somehow. But, if you are not concerned about cleaning and if you have a lot of time to deal with it, I think it does its job.

Great filtration bag for nut milk
I purchased the filtration bag to make nut milk. The Vitamix filtration bag filters very well, resulting in commercial quality milk (No almond pulp in milk), however there is really no comparison - nut milk made in my vitamix is much creamier and more delicious than commercial. After filtering the milk, I invert the bag, remove the pulp and dry it in the oven, then turn the pulp into almond flour in my dry grains container. Edges of bag don't trap pulp and can be cleaned fairly easily. I have used it several times, and it still looks new.

TRY THIS!
Turn the bag inside out to filter the milk. That puts the seams on the outside so they don't get clogged with pulp. Works like a charm!

Essential for making vegan cheese
I've used the bag successfully for several applications. Primarily I use it to filter almond milk for vegan cheese making and for baking. Ive also used it to make a firm yogurt cheese. Works well, if you avoid squeezing bag near seams. Several times, nut pulp oozed out of areas along seam. It is possible to use it by avoiding the seam.

Best Nut-Milk Bag!
I've been making my own nut milks for years now and tried a variety of strainer bags, but they all left little pieces of the nuts that led to a gritty residual feeling in the "milk". This bag, however, strains the pulp even from cashew milk! The result is smooth, creamy nut milks.

I bought this bag a few weeks ago to filter my homemade almond milk. I love the bag. ...it's easy to use and does a fantastic job. It filters out everything. I'm left with very creamy and smooth almond milk.

Durable bag
The filtration bag is very durable, so it should last for years. It gets a little messy sometimes, so use a BIG bowl to filter into.
