Vitamix Receives Ninth Consecutive Overall Best in Class Award From Foodservice & Supplies Magazine
Company Recognized as Top Beverage Blender in Overall, Operator and Dealer Categories 11/01/2017
CLEVELAND – Vitamix®, a world leader in high-performance blending equipment for commercial and home use, is proud to be recognized as the Best in Class Overall beverage blender for the ninth consecutive year. Since 2009 the readers of Foodservice Equipment & Supplies (FE&S) magazine have selected Vitamix as the Best in Class Overall beverage blender. Vitamix was also named Best in Class by Dealers and Operators in the beverage blender category.
Each year, the Best in Class awards recognize industry manufacturers with products or services that provide superior quality to their customers. FE&S readers evaluate manufacturers on seven key attributes: product quality, product value, product design and aesthetics, service and support, sales representation, product inventory and availability, and product information accessibility. These individuals – who include foodservice operators, dealers and consultants – then prioritize the seven factors in order of importance and rate each individual company within the given product categories. FE&S then utilizes the data to determine Best in Class winners.
“Working in a professional kitchen demands the most durable, precise and powerful equipment, which is precisely what Vitamix produces,” said Lisa Klein, vice president of Commercial Sales for Vitamix. “The Best in Class awards reaffirm our role as a true partner in the success of culinary professionals.”
A leader in commercial blending, Vitamix and its products have been recognized by a wide variety of industry awards through the years. The company places customer needs at the center of product development and purpose-driven innovation.
The Vitamix family of companies is privately held and family-owned and -operated. Founded in 1921, Vitamix manufactures high-performance blending equipment for home and commercial use. The company developed the first true commercial blender in the early 1990s, which ignited the smoothie movement, and has been named the Best in Class Overall beverage blender for eight consecutive years by readers of Foodservice Equipment & Supplies magazine. Vitamix continues to win awards for innovation in its products, which are known worldwide for their performance, versatility and ease of use, and are available in approximately 140 countries.
