Orange Raspberry-ade
This refreshing beverage is a spin on the traditional lemonade, featuring oranges and raspberry instead. It's not only delicious, but colorful too! What a particularly lovely treat for a ladies luncheon or bridal shower.
Ingredients
- 1½ cup (350 ml) cold water
- ½ (90 g) medium orange, ends trimmed and discarded, remainder cut into 4 equal slices (about 1/2-inch thick)
- ⅓ cup (30 g) frozen raspberries
- 2 cups (260 g) ice cubes, plus additional as needed for serving
- 3 Tablespoons (60 g) date syrup, or sweetener of choice
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 30 seconds. Serve with extra ice if desired.
Chef's Notes
Oranges and raspberries make a great combination. Interestingly enough, frozen raspberries offer a darker red color and more flavor than fresh raspberries. The Aer disc containers muddles the ingredients to add more flavor and texture to your beverage. Adjust sweetener down or up to your liking.

Made this several times
This was not only easy and delish, but it was a blast from the past. I grew up in summers going to a little snack stand in Rockaway Beach NY after church where we'd buy orangeade sin cardboard containers to carry away and drink. It was so good, and I haven't found it made anywhere else since. Now I can make it. Just use a few orange slices, let the container muddle the slices getting out the juice and the pulp. Fast and easy. (I am a purist though, I left out the raspberries).

This was delicious
I used 1 cup of water instead of 1 1/2 cups. I'm new to the Aer and this is the second recipe I'm making. The first one I made was strawberry lemonade and it was too watery. This Orange Raspberry one turned out delicious the first time I made it, with a little less water. I think I've found a new toy in my kitchen. I love the Vitamix and have had great results from all their products. Love this Aer.

Very refreshing!
Super easy to make and refreshing. I made it with the 64 ounce container (not the Aer Disc) and it was very tasty.
