- 2 – 15-ounce cans chickpeas, 1 drained, 1 with liquid
- ¼ cup raw sesame seeds
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt, to taste
Add ingredients to the container, start the machine on Variable 1, and slowly increase to its highest speed.
Blend for 1 minute.
While blending, use the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades. Not to worry—the tamper can’t touch the blades when the lid is secure.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with cayenne pepper for an appetizer that’s sure to impress guests.
