Chickpea Flour

This gluten-free flour is easy to make and use for baking, binding, or wherever you need a flour alternative.



  • 2 cups (460 g) dried chickpeas


  1. Place dried chickpea beans into the Vitamix container and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed and quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 45 seconds to 1 minute. Remove chickpea flour from container and store in an airtight container.

Chef's Notes

This quick and easy recipe is used multiple times throughout the food processor recipes to make items gluten free. 2 cups of beans will increase to 3 cups of flour; remember to weigh out flour recipes by the gram to have a more accurate recipe.
