First correct smoothie in the A3500...thank you
I received the A3500 as a gift for Christmas and made the recommended smoothie per the owner’s manual. It didn’t go well and I think that was because it wanted fresh fruit as opposed to frozen (which required more liquid to be added). I made this smoothie second and had all the fresh fruit needed. I used the smoothie button and this worked like a charm. It blended up smoothly as advertised. The flavor profile was awesome. I love that there is 2 cups of spinach, but your really can’t tell other than the color. And the color is such a pretty green. Clean up was a breeze. I will definitely be on this site for more Vitamix recipes. Thank you,

Incredible and so delicious! Best smoothi I've eve
I can't believe I'd be the type of person who drinks 2 cups of spinach in a smoothie for breakfast. But ever since I got my Vitamix, that's what I have for breakfast every day. It is so incredibly yummy and sweet and refreshing! I leave out the banana (allergic) and it's still amazing. The colour is bright green so not normally what I'd find appealing. But the grape-pineapple flavour is all I can taste.
Hands down the best smoothie I've ever had (and that includes the ones I've had from Jamba Juice and Booster Juice). I add more ice to mine to make it really thick and icy.
I made one for my dad and he loved it until I told him it was full of spinach. lol.
This alone was worth the cost.

BEST Green Drink on the PLANET!!!
I've had sooo many juices, but this one is by far the best tasting one I've ever made. It's got a mix of everything and I feel soooo much better shortly after I drink it, too. I make an entire pitcher and drink 4 big glasses of it because it's that good! Thank you for whoever came up with this recipe. It's something I'd pay a lot of money for at a retail juice place but don't have to now that I have my Vitamix, too :)

Very refreshing!
This smoothie is delicious and very refreshing. It's hard to believe that there are two cups of spinach in it because it's just so delicious and juicy. My vitamix did an amazing job of blending everything together. I could not taste the skin on the grapes or the spinach leaves at all. I have had this for 3 mornings in a row now. I love it so much!

Everyday Breakfast
Love it! This is my every day breakfast. I always make a few substitutions, including no ice, using frozen fruit, using whichever fruit is in season etc. But my biggest recommendation is to blend the spinach and water together FIRST. I blend my spinach and water alone for 20-30 seconds (until the spinach is completely liquid and no fibers or chunks remain) before adding the frozen fruit. I don't like the bubbly texture that happens when leafy greens are blended, and doing this first completely eliminates that, as well as emulsifies the spinach completely in the water. I've also read that releasing chlorophyll completely from the veg like that is good for you, but I have no clue if that's true. Regardless, it gives the smoothie a better texture, which is what really matters to me.

Delicious!
I love this recipe. The flavors are perfect. You cannot taste the spinach in it (which is great to me). It's very easy to make and no weird ingredients required.
