Chocolate Shake

Create some great milkshake memories at home. (For a non-dairy alternative, use soy milk and soy ice cream.)

Chocolate Shake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) almond milk , or milk alternative
  • 3/4 cups (180 ml) chocolate sauce , or cocoa powder
  • 3 cups (390 g) vanilla frozen yogurt, or soy ice cream
  • 3 cups (390 g) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
  3. Blend for 30-45 seconds or unti consistency is smooth, using the tamper to push ingredients into the blades.

Chef's Notes

  • For recipe variation, add 2 Tablespoons (37g) malted milk powder for a Chocolate Malt. This recipe can easily be doubled in the 64 oz. containers.
  • Replace the ice with more frozen yogurt for a less crystalized texture.
